Terror Blasts Kill 33 in Central London

Terrorists have brought carnage to London with a series of bombs that killed at least 33 people and maimed hundreds of others across the capital.

There were three coordinated blasts on the London Underground network and a bus packed with commuters was ripped apart in what Tony Blair called a "barbaric'' string of attacks.

The onslaught was unleashed on the day that G8 world leaders met at Gleneagles.
There were reports that the al Qaida terror network had claimed responsibility for the attacks, which mirrored the vicious assault on Madrid commuters in 2004 in which almost 200 people died.

A total of 33 deaths have been confirmed, including 21 at King's Cross - but the death toll will rise further once the number of victims of the bus blast are known.
The day of death and chaos prompted the Prime Minister to vow that the terrorists would never win.

"Whatever they do, it is our determination that they will never succeed in destroying what we hold dear in this country and other civilised nations in the world,'' Mr Blair said.

It’s shocking to see and read about all that has happened in London today. Not only is it an act of cruelty, what kind of people would go out to hurt and kill innocent people? It really made me think about how we really do not know what will happen. How many people would have left home like any other day this morning, some will not be returning and for some life will never be the same again.

Personally, today’s events have acted as a wake up call, you never know what will happen and when your time will come, it’s never too early to start walking the right path.

Everything that happens is for a reason but it’s really hard to comprehend why anyone would do anything like this..

I heard a statement by a police representative who was asked if they suspect ‘Islamic terrorists’ have anything to do with it and the response was ‘if anyone thinks they are a Muslim and can carry out such acts in the name of religion they are greatly mistaken as to what they are’, how true is that comment.

Bilaaval, Fourth Mehl:
Come, O Saints, and join together, O my Siblings of Destiny; let us tell the Stories of the Lord, Har, Har.
The Naam, the Name of the Lord, is the boat in this Dark Age of Kali Yuga; the Word of the Guru's Shabad is the boatman to ferry us across. 1
O my mind, chant the Glorious Praises of the Lord.
According to the pre-ordained destiny inscribed upon your forehead, sing the Praises of the Lord; join the Holy Congregation, and cross over the world-ocean. 1Pause
Within the body-village is the Lord's supreme, sublime essence. How can I obtain it? Teach me, O humble Saints.
Serving the True Guru, you shall obtain the Fruitful Vision of the Lord's Darshan; meeting Him, drink in the ambrosial essence of the Lord's Nectar. 2
The Ambrosial Name of the Lord, Har, Har, is so sweet; O Saints of the Lord, taste it, and see.
Under Guru's Instruction, the Lord's essence seems so sweet; through it, all corrupt sensual pleasures are forgotten. 3
The Name of the Lord is the medicine to cure all diseases; so serve the Lord, O humble Saints.
The four great blessings are obtained, O Nanak, by vibrating upon the Lord, under Guru's Instruction. 44
May Maharaaj help and support all those who have been involved in today’s atrocities.
Our lives are not determined by what happens to us but by how we react to what happens, not by what life brings to us, but by the attitude we bring to life. A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events, and outcomes. It is a catalyst, a spark that creates extraordinary results.
